Before embarking on a journey with Viet Voyage Riders, take the time to carefully review the following terms and conditions, which apply to all forms of booking our services.

Deposit and Payment

  1. To confirm your booking for the tour, we require a 40% deposit of the total tour cost.
  2. Viet Voyage Riders offers various flexible payment methods, with the most popular and convenient being bank transfer. Once you confirm your booking, we will provide detailed information on how to proceed with this payment method.
  3. The remaining amount needs to be settled with Viet Voyage Riders at least 15 days prior to the scheduled departure date.

Cancellation and refunds

  1. Viet Voyage Riders does not refund in the event of tour cancellation due to unfavorable weather conditions or personal reasons of the customer. Tours may be postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions; however, we are not liable if the tour is canceled for this reason.
  2. Viet Voyage Riders disclaim all legal responsibility for any flight delays or itinerary changes during the tour. We do not consider refunds in any cases due to these reasons.
  3. Please inform us in writing as soon as you intend to cancel the tour.
  4. You may incur additional cancellation fees from the last payment date up to a maximum of 15 days before departure (this fee will be specified on the invoice).
  5. If the customer cancels the tour within 7 days before departure, they will be charged a late cancellation fee equivalent to the entire tour price (100% of the tour price).
  6. Outside of this timeframe, Viet Voyage Riders will refund your tour package. However, we advise you to invest in travel insurance to cover the costs of canceling a trip due to illness, natural disasters, or any other personal issues.
  7. Depending on the circumstances, Viet Voyage Riders will rearrange the tour for you at the most convenient time.

Our Responsibilities

  1. Although we always strive to ensure a smooth motorbike travel experience for you, unforeseen events such as mechanical issues, accidents, or thefts may sometimes occur. Understanding that, we commit to providing replacement vehicles for you even if the journey has already commenced. Rest assured that in this case, you will be reimbursed the price difference between your originally booked motorcycle and the replacement one.
  2. We guarantee to provide everything included in the tour price. Our experienced guides will always accompany and support you throughout the journey. In case of emergencies, we will contact the designated emergency contacts you have provided in the liability waiver to ensure you receive the best support possible.

Customers responsibilities

  1. To ensure a safe and smooth experience for travelers, Viet Voyage Riders requires all participating drivers to have personal travel insurance, including coverage for motorbikes. This insurance will help compensate for medical expenses and accidents in case of risks.
  2. Viet Voyage Riders are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of travelers throughout the journey.
  3. Viet Voyage Riders offers basic third-party liability insurance with a maximum coverage of $5,000. This covers injuries or property damage to others in an accident you cause. However, it’s important to understand what’s not included. You are responsible for the first $2,000 of any damage the tour company deems your fault. This damage does not include wear and tear that may be acceptable, such as minor scratches or paint chips caused by insects, gravel, or stones. However, the insurance will not cover scratches, serious damage caused by motorcycle spills, or accidents. Customers can opt for our Excess Reduction Policy (ERP) to reduce this insurance fee. For a daily fee of $30 during your trip, the ERP lowers your deductible from $2,000 to $200.

You can purchase ERP coverage during booking or before the tour begins. It’s not available for purchase after the tour commences. Please note that ERP is already included in the tour itineraries listed on our website.

  • All riders must be at least 22 years old with a valid motorcycle license.
  • A minimum of two years riding experience is required on motorcycles of similar or larger engine capacity to those provided by Viet Voyage Riders.
  • We expect all riders to follow local traffic laws and adhere to the tour leader’s safety instructions. Violation of these rules may result in termination of your service agreement and suspension of riding privileges for the remaining tour.
  • Operating a motorcycle under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Consuming alcohol is only permitted after reaching designated overnight rest stops. Dangerous behavior due to intoxication will result in disciplinary action.
