Itinerary

Commencing our journey at 8 a.m., we set out through the tranquil countryside lanes to avoid the bustling city traffic as we convene at the outskirts of Hanoi. En route from Hanoi to Mai Chau, you'll be treated to a myriad of natural and agricultural vistas. Following a satisfying lunch, we proceed along National Highway 6 towards Thung Khe Pass, offering a glimpse of authentic mountainous grandeur.

Mai Chau, listed as one of the top 10 tourism destinations in the US by Business Insider Magazine, beckons to lovers of rustic natural environments. From the vantage point of Thung Khe Pass (White Stone Pass), situated over 1000m above sea level, you'll be treated to unparalleled panoramic views of Mai Chau. The highlight of the tour awaits as we arrive in Mu Cang Chai, a picturesque destination adorned with golden rice terraces. Here, the local H'mong people maintain ancient rituals and customs, deeply rooted in the history and culture of the region. If time allows, you can even experience the thrill of a parachute jump from Khau Pha Pass, offering breathtaking views of La Pan Tan before reaching Mu Cang Chai.

We set off on our journey to Luc Yen at 9 in the morning, departing from Sa Pa towards Lao Cai town. Following the frontier between Vietnam and China, we then transition onto the No. 70 sealed road before continuing on a smaller road to Luc Yen. This serene village, predominantly inhabited by the Tay People, boasts remarkable stilt houses and is renowned for its gemstone market. Over the past three decades, this market has evolved from a local trading hub to a burgeoning tourist attraction, drawing visitors from far and wide. Nestled in the heart of Luc Yen District, Yen Bai Province, the market stands as a unique and historical landmark with roots dating back decades.
