Itinerary
Our journey kicks off at 9 a.m., gathering the entire crew at our tour office for a swift safety briefing. Steering clear of the bustling main routes, we opt for the less-traveled back roads, smaller lanes, and rugged dirt tracks to reveal Vietnam in its purest form.
Departing from Thang Long Boulevard, we traverse the Nhat Tan Bridge and head towards Vinh Phuc. A quaint adventure awaits as we hop onto a small raft to cross the mighty Red River, leading us to a centuries-old temple guarded by the sprawling roots of a 500-year-old fig tree. A brief respite follows before we delve into a short off-road trail, eventually merging onto National Highway 2 for our midday pitstop at a riverside stilt house, offering a picturesque backdrop for lunch.
Refreshed and refueled, we embark once again on a raft to cross the river, continuing our journey along National Highway 37 towards the charming Ngoi Tu village nestled against the serene Thac Ba Lake. Passing through tea plantations and quaint villages, we finally arrive at the White Yao's homestay, our accommodation for the night.
The evening unfolds with a tranquil boat cruise on Thac Ba Lake, followed by a refreshing swim at the foot of a cascading waterfall. As darkness descends, we immerse ourselves in the local wine culture and customs, savoring a delicious dinner while learning about the traditions of the region.

Yen The, renowned for its gemstones, offers ample opportunities for budget-friendly souvenirs. Continuing onwards to Lao Cai City, and then to Sa Pa after a rejuvenating coffee break, we opt for the safer 4E road instead of the perilous route leading to the Vietnam-China border from Lao Cai City.
Marvel at the breathtaking mountains enveloping lush jungles and vast rice terraces that unfold in every direction. After a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant in Xuan Giao, we delve into the enchanting valleys of Phu-Thanh Kim-Ban Ho, particularly the Y Linh Ho-Lao Chai Ta Van valley.
