The 8-day off-road Sapa motorbike tour to the Northeast begins with a train journey from Hanoi to Lao Cai, located about 70 km from Bac Ha. Once you start riding to Bac Ha, you'll have opportunities to stop for sightseeing and capturing stunning photographs. Each season brings different winding off-road paths, allowing you to explore buckwheat fields, karst plateaus, and ancient tea lands.

In addition to the Bac Ha market, you'll encounter several must-visit attractions along the way, including the Hoang A Tuong building, Ban Pho village, and Tien cave. Upon reaching Bac Ha, you'll stay in a homestay, providing an immersive experience of local daily life. You'll enjoy intimate meals with the local people, who will likely invite you to sample regional specialties such as sticky rice and homemade wine.

A highlight of the trip to Ha Giang is Hoang Su Phi in Phung village. The best times to visit the terraced fields here are during the water-pouring season in May or the harvest season in September. In Hoang Su Phi, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and the scenic landscape of mountains and forests. Additionally, explore the unique cultures of the villages Nam Hong, Giang Thuong, Phin Ho, and Lang Giang, each offering a distinctive charm.

The journey to experience the incredible beauty of Ha Giang province continues with a bumpy ride through off-road paths to Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. This geopark, recognized by UNESCO, boasts magnificent mountain landscapes. Along the way, you'll have opportunities to stop for sightseeing and photography. The trip from Ha Giang city to Dong Van takes about 3 to 4 hours by motorbike. You'll start on National Highway 4C, pass through Quan Ba (Tam Son town), and continue to Yen Minh town and Meo Vac. After covering 150 km, you'll reach Dong Van, the highlight of the third day's route. Dong Van is renowned for its stunning mountains, hills, and valleys. The area's delicious food and unique cultures leave a lasting impression on visitors.

Departing from Bao Lac, you embark on a 130-km journey to Cao Bang. While the initial and final stretches of the road are relatively smooth, the remainder presents a bumpy ride, with the highlight being the challenge of conquering Me Pia Pass, renowned as the most treacherous pass in the Northeast region.

Your route takes you through Tinh Tuc town, approximately 70 km from Bao Lac, characterized by its tranquil ambiance, scattered houses, and a handful of shops. Continuing onwards, you'll cover a further 10 km to Nguyen Binh, before transitioning to smoother roads that lead you to Cao Bang.

Upon departing from Bao Lac, you'll embark on a 130-kilometer journey to Cao Bang. While the initial 30 kilometers and the final 40 kilometers of the route pose little difficulty, the remainder presents a challenging ride, particularly with the ascent of Me Pia Pass, known as the most perilous pass in the Northeast region.

As you traverse through Tinh Tuc town, approximately 70 kilometers from Bao Lac, you'll encounter a serene atmosphere characterized by scattered houses and a few local shops. Continuing onwards for another 10 kilometers to Nguyen Binh, you'll then transition onto smoother roads that lead you to Cao Bang.

After breakfast, you'll journey 25 kilometers from Trung Khanh to Quang Uyen town, where you can indulge in a bowl of noodles topped with succulent roasted duck, renowned for its flavorful meat and savory sauce at Quang Uyen market. Following the outlined route to Lang Son city, you'll traverse Phuc Hoa Pass via Route No.3, treating yourself to a smooth ride amidst verdant sugarcane fields. Continuing along Route 208, you'll pass through Dong Khe town before reconnecting with Route 4A, journeying through That Khe, Na Sam, and Dong Dang. Upon reaching Dong Dang, you'll proceed along Route 1A until you arrive in Lang Son.

While exploring Lang Son, your route will lead you to Tam Thanh Pagoda nestled within a cave, offering a glimpse into a spiritual and enigmatic realm within its cavernous confines. Exiting the cave, you'll veer left towards Vong Thi, affording views of the historic Mac House.
