Ta Phin village, renowned as one of Sa Pa’s top tourist attractions, captivates visitors immediately with its winding, flower-lined lanes and endless grassy hills. Beyond its natural beauty, Ta Phin is rich in cultural uniqueness, reflecting the heritage of the Red Dao people, which has been preserved and passed down for centuries, sparking the interest of cultural enthusiasts.
In Ta Phin, tourists have the chance to delve into its exotic culture, traditional costumes, and the daily lives of the residents, as well as visit other stunning sites such as Ta Phin Cave and the Ta Phin market.
Sin Chai village, located about 5 km from the town center, is one of the largest tourism villages in San Sa Ho. Nestled among the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain peaks and ancient terraced fields, Sin Chai offers breathtaking views that are sure to captivate any visitor.
Lao Chai and Ta Van are significant villages in the tourist area, situated 7 km and 12 km from Sa Pa center, respectively. Home to ethnic minorities such as the Mong, Dao, and Tay, these villages lie between the impressive Hoang Lien Son and Ham Rong mountains. The population here has been steadily growing, creating a lively and appealing living space. It's astonishing that beneath the wild Hoang Lien Son peak, there exist such bustling and populous villages, home to thousands of upland inhabitants.
Surrounding Lao Chai and Ta Van are decade-old terraced rice fields that stretch endlessly, where the Mong and Dao people work tirelessly. The picturesque charm of these terraced fields provides a spectacular backdrop for memorable photographs of Lao Chai and Ta Van. After two days of trekking, we bid farewell to the poetic beauty of Sa Pa and follow the Thanh Phu road back to Y Ty homestay in Ta Phin for rest, check-out, packing up, and the return journey to Hanoi.
